Most entrepreneurs don’t lose money because their business isn’t working. They lose money because they sign contracts that quietly weaken their cash.

Nothing dramatic on paper. But over a year, it can cost thousands.

This session is designed as a clear, practical conversation around one simple question:
where is money leaking through your contracts - and how do you stop it?

The goal is not to turn anyone into a lawyer. The goal is to help you recognise the few clauses and structures that directly affect your cash, your risk, and your negotiating power.

During the first part of the session, we will go through the most common “money leaks” found in professional contracts:
– payment terms that weaken your position
– vague clauses that delay or reduce payment
– obligations that quietly transfer risk onto you
– missing safeguards that only become visible when it’s too late

This will be concrete, business-focused, and jargon-free.

In the second part, participants are invited to send in advance a professional contract, i.e. related to their business activity. A few examples may be selected and briefly reviewed live to illustrate where cash leaks typically appear. This is not a full legal review, but a targeted spotting of the elements that directly affect payment, timing, and revenue security.

Participants will also have the possibility to ask specific questions after the session or discuss their situation privately.

To keep the session fluid and useful for everyone:
– professional contracts only (business-related, not personal contracts)
– documents in French or English
– limited number of places

The intention is simple:
to leave with a sharper instinct for where money is lost in contracts,
and what to look for before signing the next one. An event for entrepreneurs who want their contracts to support their business, not quietly drain it."

Ronke Olaye

Ronke Olaye is a lawyer and contract strategist with over a decade of experience working on complex international and industrial agreements. After years spent negotiating contracts where a single clause could impact significant revenue, she now helps entrepreneurs identify where money quietly leaks through their contracts and how to protect their cash before signing. Her approach focuses on translating legal language into clear business decisions so companies can protect their margins, cash flow, and negotiating power.
