ANOTHER BOOKCLUB | Science Fiction & Fantasy Edition
02/04/2026 - From 19h30 to 22h - Members OnlyRegistration mandatory
We’re very happy to invite you to the next ANOTHER BOOKCLUB. This time, we’re stepping slightly out of reality since this edition is devoted to SCIENCE FICTION & FANTASY and I will be joined by Danielle Piatkiewicz, an avid lover and expert of the genres: the books that imagine other worlds, other futures, other rules. The ones with distant planets, quiet magic, speculative what-ifs, epic quests, or small, uncanny details that make you see our own world differently.
As always: you can just join the party or bring a beloved classic, a recent discovery, a dog-eared favourite from your teenage years, or something wonderfully niche you think more people should know about.
ANOTHER BOOKCLUB = no set titles, no pressure, no prep. Just a small circle, a drink inhand, and generous bookish conversation. Come to share. Or simply to listen and collect new worlds to explore.
Alexia Struye
Alexia Struye is an Antwerp-based multipotentialite working across the art world. Her roles are many — artist, writer, mentor, coach, project manager, and speaker — all are driven by a deep commitment to creative inquiry and forward thinking.
She moves fluidly between making, thinking, advocating and supporting others in the arts. Anything she hasn’t tackled yet, is super exciting. Like a bookclub, for example.
Special Guest for the day :
Danielle Piatkiewicz is a lifelong book lover, but her true weakness is science fiction and fantasy. She took one class back in the day and became fascinated by how these genres often reflect or even predict shifts in politics, society, and technology. Get her started, and she can easily spend hours recommending old and new titles that explore everything from AI and power structures to social collapse and future utopias.
