About our speaker, Kym Nelson

Kym is a writer, comedian, and host of the women-only comedy night at The Nine. Formerly a travel writer and editor for the European Commission and the European Policy Centre, she has spent her career transforming complex ideas into engaging, relatable stories. Her transition into stand-up comedy adds a fresh, dynamic edge to her work. Now, she performs internationally and teaches comedy and storytelling at the Bridge Theatre in Brussels while also teaching professionals how to bring humour and authenticity to presentations and public speaking. Whether presenting with impact or owning the room, Kym empowers women to connect and express themselves with confidence and humour, all with the bold energy of stand-up comedy.
