This event is focused on addressing an increasingly prevalent issue: burnout.

According to RIZIV statistics, a staggering 330,000 employees are exhibiting signs of burnout. Over the past five years, there has been a concerning 46% increase in cases of burnout and depression. As of December 31, 2020, 9,869 men and 23,533 women were on leave due to burnout. These numbers are on the rise, but they don't have to be our future.

In this presentation, we'll delve into crucial topics surrounding burnout:

  • Recognizing the warning signs to prevent burnout before it takes hold.
  • Embracing burnout as an opportunity for personal growth and utilizing it as a reset button for a more fulfilling life.
  • Equipping ourselves with strategies to steer clear of burnout in the future.

    I will share proven tips and strategies to not only cope with burnout but also emerge stronger, more resilient, and better equipped to navigate life's challenges. Let's embark on this journey together and empower ourselves to thrive in both our personal and professional lives.


Jennifer Spruyt is a trilingual burn-out & life coach (ENG, NL, FR), specializing in guiding women to a balanced mental health and elevating their lives through personal development. Drawing from her own journey through burnout and depression, she understands firsthand the transformative power of resilience and the reset that comes from a burn-out.

We are all born innocent and authentic but through the years we are conditioned to think a certain way, act a certain way and be a certain way. Conditioned by our parents, the school system, the society and our workplaces.

Burn-out is the experience that forces you to peel off those layers of conditioning and come back to the purest most authentic version of yourself.

Emerging from this powerful experience she dedicated herself to studying life coaching and developed her own SHAPE methodology, consisting of well-researched and proven steps to rebuilding yourself after a burnout.
